2026-11-07 Export Compliance Watch: Three Notable Signals

## Background Export certification issues are highly concentrated in their distribution. In recent project records, three types of situations recur.

## Frontline Observations **1. Certificate validity periods are overlooked.** Certificates for CE-LVD Low Voltage Directive certification have clear validity periods, but companies often manage them according to project schedules and do not set expiration reminders.

**2. Document consistency.** Inconsistency in product names and model designations across the four documents—certificate, invoice, packing list, and bill of lading—is a high-frequency cause of customs clearance delays.

**3. Standard version updates.** After standard versions are updated, old reports do not automatically become invalid, but they may be rejected during customer audits and platform verification.

## What Companies Should Do 1. Establish a certificate ledger, marking validity periods and covered models. 2. Conduct a "four-document cross-check" before shipment. 3. Conduct an annual standard version review.
