Product fully compliant, yet unable to obtain Egypt COC because factory is not registered

The customer's test reports are complete, so the COC application was submitted directly.

Egypt requires the production factory to be listed in the GOEIC registration directory. The factory had never been registered, so the application was returned.

Factory registration was advanced in parallel: business license, production license, quality system documents, and process flow; check whether the laboratory is within GOEIC's recognized scope or ILAC mutual recognition; supplement Arabic labels, including product name, place of origin, and manufacturer information; submit the COC only after registration is completed to avoid queuing again.

Factory registration was completed in 3 weeks, the COC was issued in 12 working days, and the total project cycle was 5 weeks.

Egypt applies dual supervision of "product + factory," and factory registration is a prerequisite. Arabic labels are a hard requirement and cannot be changed only before certificate issuance. The target country's laboratory accreditation scope must be confirmed in advance to avoid reports being rejected.
