Bluetooth speaker cannot provide a fixed-frequency method, RED project stuck for 18 days

The customer obtained a radio frequency test report from a solution provider on their own, but the report did not cover the TWS dual-mode concurrent scenario.

The laboratory was unable to get the prototype into a continuous transmission state, and testing stalled; at the same time, the external antenna gain of 3dBi was not corrected for EIRP, and the power calculation method was incorrect.

Coordinated with the solution provider to provide engineering firmware and serial port commands, and established a reproducible fixed-frequency process; recalculated EIRP based on the actual antenna gain and corrected the test limits; supplemented testing of spurious emissions and occupied bandwidth under TWS concurrent mode; the notified body completed the EU type examination and issued the certificate.

After completing the fixed-frequency solution, testing was completed within 6 working days, and the NB certificate was obtained on the 18th day.

Before a wireless project starts, it must first be confirmed "whether fixed-frequency operation can be achieved" — this is the most easily overlooked prerequisite. External antennas must be corrected for gain, and the module certificate power cannot be directly applied. Dual-mode and concurrent scenarios must be separately included in the test scope; otherwise, the report coverage will be incomplete.
